Currently, I am serving as a Procurement Specialist with PotomacWave Consulting, INC. and provide project and acquisition management support to the Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). I provide acquisition management support throughout the entire acquisition lifecycle, including requirements development, contract execution monitoring, and closeout reconciliation. I assist the NSD Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) with pre-award functions associated with awarding new contracts, task orders, and Interagency Agreements, including procurement planning and advising and assisting the government regarding contract or task order issues involving scope and compliance. I also support CORs with contract execution activities, including the organizing and tracking of contract invoices, deliverables, Government-Furnished Equipment, invoice reconciliation, and burn rates. I monitor periods of performance and funding levels to ensure services do not lapse or run out of funding. I track against the fiscal year procurement plan to ensure all procurement efforts are accounted for and keep all stakeholders informed. I also perform in depth financial analysis of contract data in response to data calls / taskers from NSD leadership.
