Exploring ExecutiveBoy Scouts Of America 2008 - Aug 2011Www.Nyexploring.OrgMy colleagues and I coordinated a career awareness and education program on behalf of the Boy Scouts of America's Learning for Life division. The program seeks to connect New York City youth with actual members of the workforce to give them insight into the spectrum of careers available to them within the boroughs. The experience was usually hands on. Much of my time was spent growing the partner organizations on the business and law enforcement sides of the program. Other duties included training adult volunteers from those organizations to run an efficient program. I was also responsible for maintaining and growing the partner schools and youth membership. -
