First generation college graduate with a BS of Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. I am known to be a fast learner, a critical thinker, a problem solver, and I have excellent coordination and organizational skills.I am currently a Rail and Transit Systems Engineer on the largest project in the United States: The California High-Speed Rail. So far, I have learned the best practices of Verification and Validation within Systems Engineering such as constant adaptation to changes, integration of different teams and sub-systems, project management, requirements analysis, and high levels of communication. My Mechanical Engineering Design projects include: • Senior design project - Working with a dedicated team of 5 to design and manufacture an RC concrete finisher through procedural design, construction, and testing phases while following safety standards such as IEEE and ASME. • Simulation of Hydraulic Mechanical Suspension System - Simulated a hydraulic suspension system using Simulink by identifying the required elements that make up hydraulic suspensions and analyzing the forces required to swiftly lift a portion of the car. • Other projects include Arduino projects aimed to simulate automobile collision warnings and other functions used in automobiles such as temperature control sensors and more.
