The Director of ICT is the University’s most senior Information and Communications Technology Officer, responsible for development, planning, coordination of projects, and liaison with University Management of ICT Related matters. Other responsibility includes• Provide expert advice, recommendations, feedback on ICT issues through the Vice-Chancellor.• Play a leading role in planning, development and coordination of all projects delegated to by the Vice-Chancellor or Management.• Ensures reliability and high standard and quality of services are provided by the ICT department.• Provides regular reports through the Vice-Chancellor to Council, Management, Other University Committees and Organizations working in partnership with the University.

Joined as a Project Engineer to rollout the Digicel GSM network.• Champion the creation, review and updating of all Project Processes• Implementing and updating a Rollout Project Management Timeline. Regular Project Reporting of all Processes, Site Status Milestones, Bottlenecks and Critical Sites.• Supervise and oversee all the Project Freight Customs clearance and Logistics delivery for Switch and Tower construction during Network Rollout –Site Build Phase• Implement and Manage all the Project office IT network and relationship with service supplier CSL. Meet all ongoing staff computer/peripherals requirements• Maintained a reliable wireless server environment for project team, expanded as required for the new Digicel team in Samoa• Supervise the IT technical installation team during Network IT Equipment installation
