As a graduate student in Dr. Ben Langmead's lab, I focus on increasing scalability of existing tools and developing new methods to analyze large datasets. My recent projects include compression of SAM/BAM datasets (Boiler), optimization of graph genome structure (FORGe), and improved copy-number segmentation for single-cell analysis (Ginkgo 2).
