I am passionate about data. Data is the new gold in our world. Companies today have more of it than was ever thought possible. This new gold needs modern goldsmiths to refine it and present it in an understandable format to both employees and clients alike. I have gone deep into learning to clean, navigate, manipulate, and present it. I have learned Python, R, SQL, Machine Learning, AI and Power BI. When I was at the University of Virginia (UVA), I took courses about statistical analysis, multivariable calculus, econometrics, and politics of economic reform while I earned two Bachelor's degrees (Economics and Foreign Affairs). In my current role, I am a pricing analyst for Vantage Electrical Group. Vantage is an electrical machine repair parts distributor. I collaborate with first class pricing managers to manage multiple million-dollars accounts for some of the largest paper and pulp, rubber, packaging, and food processing companies in America. I manage day to day invoices for these corporations and negotiate their Special Pricing Agreements with the largest electrical manufacturers. Additional responsibilities include identifying lists of parts from current and potential customers and designing and maintaining a variety of reports for our clients. I also design, curate, and manage reports in Power BI for both internal and external functions. In this position, I use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).In my spare time, I enjoy keeping up with current events, reading, watching Chicago sports teams, and playing video games.
