● Backend/Middle tier engineer in a C#/.NET environment for an E-commerce website.● Main project is a tool which is used by both customers and employees to create products for the website. The tool has been used to launch over 20,000 products to the website. Responsible for all back end features including the database and the internal UI.● Created the back end (SQL, API endpoints, middle tier code) for package tracking for all of our 30,000+ daily packages with over a million daily status updates.● Worked on a multithreaded gRPC service that connects to all of our carriers’ APIs to rate shop and print labels in under 2 seconds for 30000+ daily packages.● Built a program that allows users to upload a csv to create and update products to post to the website. Columns were variable and a single product can take multiple rows.● Helped write a C++ tool that functions like Git/SVN that is used for all of our image assets.● Wrote python code to parse internal imaging data and transmit it via RabbitMQ.● Made stored procedures and internal websites in ASP.NET to create reports and charts for the financial team.● Optimized middle tier and back end code for faster performance across all projects. For example; updated a dashboard’s worst case load time from over 2 mins to about 3 seconds.

● Audited the front and back end Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server code.● Confirmed that the existing code was mathematically correct and modified it to run more efficiently.● Found a security flaw where the database was open to SQL injection and rewrote the code to fix the problem.

Successfully coded programs that were used in experiments and helped run the experiments.Undertook data analysis forming input to articles which were later published in academic journals.
