Operations leadership for property management of Stryker military vehicles at 9 U.S. and 3 overseas military bases. Served in the AMEDD Center and School G-4 Logistics Staff under the G-4 Chief of Logistics as the focal point providing daily, technical and operational guidance on the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of the Army (DA) standard logistical systems.• Major systems managed include, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Defense Automation Resource Management Program (DARMP), Standard Procurement System (SPS), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Standard Property Book System-Redesign (SPBS-R), Theater Enterprise Worldwide Logistics System (TEWLS), Single Army Logistics Enterprise System (SALES), PR web and Theater Army Medical Management Information System (TAMMIS).• Directed the analysis of various segments of automated supply and equipment management programs that are part of a command wide application.• Implemented a wide range of logistics management related processes which includes identifying, analyzing, developing policy and new commercial business practices/policies at the AMEDD Center and School in the PR web application.

Served as Company Commander for the 551st Medical Company (Logistics), which is comprised of 110 Soldiers and their family members. Responsible for providing oversight for unit personnel in six different locations across the Iraq Joint Operations Area (IJOA). Responsible for providing training, supervision, welfare and combat readiness of all assigned personnel. Responsible for all company administrative, training and commodity area operations; provided combat health logistics oversight of Class VIII supply distribution and forward biomedical maintenance repair for the entire IJOA in support Operation New Dawn (OND) 10-11.• Executed the mission of personnel and equipment draw down as operations transitioned to Iraqi civilian military organizations.• Managed the disposition of equipment totaling over $5MM, and empowered units to manage their own medical logistics operations.• Through multiple processes eradicated years’ worth of accumulated supplies in warehouses; executing process to deplete excess and obsolete supplies, across the IJOA that were no longer used in an astonishing three months time.• Redistributed needed equipment to other theater of operations and reintroduced supplies back into the management system to be used later as units identify their equipment needs. Dissolved distribution centers, successfully devised and executed a plan to train Soldiers in the various war-fighting units to obtain needed supplies and provided ongoing training.• Coordinated in a 4 month period brigade medical supply offices, brigade support battalions, combat support hospitals, and area support medical companies to become efficient and self sufficient as was the FDT mission.

Served as Operations Officer for the 56th Multifunctional Medical Battalion (MMB) comprised of 701 Soldiers in 19 separate companies and detachments providing support required to sustain full spectrum, joint, and expeditionary combat health and health service support operations for the 62nd Medical Brigade and I Corps.• Serve as the principal adviser to the commander of the Operations, Security, Plans, Readiness, Training, Tactical and Operational Movements for the entire Battalion.• Directed the coordination and synchronization of the primary staff to include operational readiness, training, administration, logistics and automation to ensure the execution of the commander’s orders.

Served as Primary Logistics Planner for 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Responsible for slit-base planning, ordering, receiving, warehousing and distribution of all medical materials totaling in excess of $8MM annually.• Directed medical materials for over 60 customers which exceeded $6.5MM annually and provided technical assistance on stock rotation, destruction and inventory management for the Group Battalion surgeons on all aspects of medical logistics planning.• Directly accountable for biomedical maintenance program and management of highly sensitive DEA controlled medication vault.

Served as Chief of Logistics for the Army’s largest overseas medical research laboratory. Responsible for 4 NCOs and 42 Thai Foreign Nationals. Directed the procurement of materiel and services in excess of $8MM annually for eight departments operating in six countries.• Oversaw the budget of the Department of Logistics of $13MM and managed all aspects of logistics operations to include: equipment acquisitions, biomedical and facilities maintenance.• Directed the contracting for facilities construction and renovations, customs, shipping, medical and general supply procurement for a 23 vehicle motor pool.• Directed the coordination of all logistical matters between the United States Army and the Royal Thai Army components of AFRIMS, the United States Embassy, Bangkok and other United States government agencies.

Served as Company Commander for Headquarters and in direct support of US Forces Korea (USFK). Provided command and control for combat health logistics supporting the Korean Theater; responsible for the overall combat readiness, administration, discipline, morale, welfare, and esprit de corps of 53 Soldiers as well as Korean Augmenters to the US Army (KATUSA)• Directly responsible for the accountability and readiness of $3.1MM inventory of unit equipment; directing all organizational maintenance operations; overseeing all collective and individual training within the unit• Directed compliance of applicable safety and environmental protection directives with zero safety incidents.

Served as Chief of Storage Operations, Distribution and Transportation for a forward deployed Medical Logistics Battalion operating as the Single Integrated Medical Logistics Manager (SIMLM) in the Korean Theater.• Directed the storage of over 3,000 lines of medical supplies worth $12MM annually. Responsible for shipping $8MM annually in sales to 655 armed forces customers for and the U.S State Department in supporting 60,000 Soldiers, families and civilians.• Directly responsible for the training, health, morale, welfare and professional development of 55 Soldiers and supervision of 25 Korean National employees.• Directed the maintenance of 15 vehicles and equipment associated with warehouse operations with a 100% vehicle readiness.• Managed the maintenance of 70,000 square feet of warehouse space including external sheds, refrigeration, HAZMAT, and DEA sensitive vault storage.
