Specialists are accountable for the deployment of tactical local area networks to any theater of operation (from garrison to shipboard to forward deployed joint-service environments) to include hardware and software resources of the network that enable network connectivity, communication, operations and management of Aviation Information Systems.Administrative tasks include but are not restricted to administrating and operating Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF), developing a monthly utilization schedule, publishing IT readiness information, and ensure AIS continuity of operations through high availability disaster recovery procedures.
