With more than 15 years of customer service experience, I am a proven people person with skills in interpersonal communication and de-escalation. I have worked in Fast-food, Retail, Banking, and Judicial areas of customer service. This has allowed me to gain a unique perspective on customer service.I started in Fast food early on and learned to deal with a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager this required quick decisions that maintained profit whilst also creating a positive customer experience. I also dealt with inventory and staff management. Retail, while not as fast-paced, still required quick thinking and situational awareness. This awareness also taught me body language and how to determine when a situation could become tense. Working at a call center for a major banking institution gave me training on De-escalation and how to read vocal emotion to determine how to proceed in a situation. Finally, the court system gave me valuable insight on understanding different culture and how to show sympathy while remaining firm in regard to rules and laws.
