As coordinator for Student Organizations and Leadership at Coastal Carolina University my primary goal is to facilitate and provide instruction of the Student Organization and Leadership Development workshop series. The purpose of these workshops is to provide Student Organization Leaders information that can further help them develop productive, and effective strategies of managing their members, work/life balance, and how to translate their skills acquired in a leadership role to a resume for their chosen career path. My goals were always to provide a welcoming, and productive classroom environment with hands-on projects, materials, and content to drive student interest and comprehension while falling within the expected standards of the South Carolina Department of Education. Additionally, tasks included volunteering to assist in school functions such as sporting events, school dances and extracurricular activities.
