• Supervises all roofing personnel, duties include planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work, training personnel, and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination or retention. • Teaches and enforces safety regulations. • Orders and purchases tools, equipment and supplies. • Maintains records of jobs performed, payroll and warranty information • Recommends improvements, changes or new techniques and procedures. • Insures proper equipment and supplies are available to complete various jobs. • Monitors jobs to insure quality, proper compliance with job standards and Florida Building Codes • Schedules inspections and insures proper paperwork is included in the permit package • Estimates costs of various jobs. • Coordinates activities with other trades areas, project managers or outside contractors. • Inspects contractor installation of roofing for compliance with plans, specifications and schedule. • Performs duties of a roofer when necessary. • Maintains computer database of all current/past accounts •Claim handling •Meeting with insurance adjusters
