-Conducted graduate level research on the effects of a ketogenic diet on a genetic rodent model of Parkinson's disease-Operated, calibrated, and maintained instrumentation used for experimentation, such as high performance liquid chromatography pumps, tubing, and detectors, surgical equipment, microtome, and ultraviolet spectrophotometer-Analyzed rat gait patterns using automated DigiGait treadmill system and software, obtained blood samples and measured energy metabolism-related biochemistry, dissected and sampled discreet regions of brain tissue for neurochemical content and neuroanatomical anomalies-Used GraphPad/Prism software to determine statistical significance of all data collected-Formally presented rationale, experimental techniques, results, and implications of findings at the Society for Neuroscience conference as well as to Trinity faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and students
