In the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, I assist with data extraction and manuscript preparation for variety of different clinical research studies and case reports. My research focus with the team is centered on integrating the institutional clinical experiences on treating pediatric patients with craniofacial anomalies into pieces of literature to guide future studies.

My research with The George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences is focused on investigating predictors of matching into competitive surgical residencies and professional development topics in medical education.

In the Section of Plastic Surgery, I work with multidisciplinary team of research assistants, medical students, and biostatisticians on plastic surgical outcomes studies focused on generating high-level evidence to be integrated into policy.

In the Center for Global Health Research, I assist with various global health projects focused on noncommunicable medical conditions. My focus is centered on identifying the potential utility of utilizing non-traditional outreach methods, including faith-based interventions, to improve the access and delivery of healthcare in low- and middle-income countries.

In the Section of Plastic Surgery, I was responsible for leading research projects, assisting with randomized control trials, writing grant proposals, and completing administrative tasks. I gained clinical research experience examining surgical outcomes in plastic surgery through cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-benefit analysis, retrospective databases, qualitative investigation, conjoint analysis, among others.
