I've worked as the Legislative Assistant for State Senator Lincoln Hough (R-30) for over a year. My primaries duties included acting as the primary press officer, writing statements/press releases/speeches for official usage; along with developing draft statements for high-priority events. I've also have taken a larger role in policy development and advocacy. Analysis of policy is a major aspect of my day to day activity, whether it be writing draft responses to rebuttals- or preparing bullet points. Additionally, functioning within a constituent relationships role is critical to my day-to-day functions.

3Rd Congressional District

Worked with Team Schaefer to get a conservative Missourian into the 3rd Congressional District.Developed a strategic plan to ensure signage at every polling location indistict, and traveled the district developing signage locations along with meeting with future constituents.Pulled a significant underdog position into a strong second place; nearly beating a Trump Endorsed candidate.

Developing graphical information, compiling information, and drafting documents make up pieces of my employment with Winton Policy Group. I'm beyond excited for my next step in public policy and I'm glad for the opportunity to find it in a outstanding consulting firm.
