As a senior at Kennesaw State University, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on software development, cybersecurity, and data engineering. I have completed a certification course in certified ethical hacking and earned an AWS cloud practitioner certification, demonstrating my proficiency and passion for learning new technologies and skills.I have applied my knowledge and skills in various projects and roles, including as a developer/data engineer at Astral Brands, where I developed new applications, maintained existing ones, and created data sources and reports for different teams. Developer/Data EngineerAstral Brands May 2022 - May 2023Atlanta, Georgia, United StatesAfter working three months as an intern, I was offered a full-time position to take on more responsibilities. I was responsible for the development new applications and maintaining current applications I helped develop previously as an intern, and they also assigned some of the data engineer's work for me to help work on. This primarily involved creating new tables/views/stored procedures in our Microsoft SQL Server database and our Sage Enterprise Intelligence portal. I assisted with creating summarized reports for the administrative staff to analyze.Developed lambda functions in Amazon AWS using Python, Node.js, and Java to automatically update the data sources these reports were derived from.I successfully migrated all of our on-premise data sources and applications to be hosted on Amazon AWS. I completed this project by restructuring all applications to be compatible with residing on a tomcat server, and I created an EC2 Instance embedded with a tomcat server installed to host the applications. -

My role primarily consisted of identifying different work procedures that could be automated, and then assisting the other developer in developing new applications to perform whichever function it was designed for. I also wrote complete documentation breaking down every aspect related to the work we compete. It also included an explanation for how the entire IT infrastructure was developed and breaks down every aspect to provide a clear understanding for everything.
