As a software developer at Data Recognition Corporation, I apply my BS in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to create and maintain web applications and services. I utilize TypeScript and unit tests across a majority of services, and introduce asynchronous stateful features to Angular web apps. I also debug AWS Lambdas using a serverless dev environment, and modify authentication protocols using Okta. I have a strong passion for web development and a keen interest in learning new technologies and frameworks.Before joining Data Recognition Corporation, I worked as a web developer at Pyxl for three years, where I developed at a full-stack level for dozens of clients. I built front-end code using best practices, replaced plugins with custom Vue-based solutions, and trained new developers to create responsive and sharp styles. I adopted emerging technology with a new site every 5 weeks, and lead development on Pyxl's first headless e-commerce build using Next.js and Shopify Plus. I enjoyed working with a diverse and collaborative team, and contributed to the company's culture and values.
