After graduating High School, I decided to go straight to work with no intentions of pursuing a college degree. I was hired on at local feed store loading hay and feed up into peoples trucks for about a year. I learned many skills like how to talk to different people, drive a forklift, and work ethic. After about a year of doing that, I decided there was more out there and headed to Bryan, Texas to attend Blinn College.At Blinn, I learned tons of professional skills like microsoft office, management styles, and a little bit of accounting. I also started my career at Kroger where I quickly moved up from stocking produce to ordering it and managing inventory. Once I completed my associate degree at Blinn, I moved on to Sam Houston State to earn my bachelors. During my time Huntsville, I expanded my knowledge of management earning my Bachelors while picking up a minor in marketing and was promoted to assistant produce manager at a brand new Kroger store.After 5 years at Kroger I moved on to Oil and gas industry and started at Cactus Wellhead. There I learned all about pressure control and how the oil field works. The most important skills I picked up from working there was for supply chain. From ordering and manufacturing to watching new items engineered right in front of me, I gained tons of experience that can transfer to many different career paths.
