Voluntary Position:-Organise all training for new and current members Manage a £8000 training budget-Booking of external training courses (PASMA, IPAF, 3 Day Rigging)-Teach and organise internal training courses (Sound, Working at Height, Rigging)-Order and distribution of PPE

Voluntary Position:-Joined when starting university and elected Stage Manager (President) in May 2013-Roles include: chairing weekly meetings, making a weekly planner of gigs and administering budgets of over £1000 Ensuring everyone works as a team to enable quick and efficient completion of the job at hand-Liaising with acts to ensure they have everything they need to perform-Mixing bands and orchestras as a FOH engineer and a monitor engineer-FOH system tech for The Hoosiers using a Yamaha QL5 and Cascada using a Midas PRO series desk-Installing and testing complex temporary power distributions in line with BS7909-Working with equipment from manufacturers including: Martin Audio, Midas, Yamaha, Robe, d&b Audiotechnik, Turbosound, Soundcraft, L’Acoustics, Roland, Avolitesand many more

- Industrial placement year- Started in warehouse prepping, de-prepping and testing all equipment- After 2 months, regularly being put out on site- On-site engineer for shows such as: Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Strictly Come Dancing, The Voice, The Royal Variety Performance, The X-Factor, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, BAFTA’s, National Television Awards, Good Morning Britain, Take Me Out, The Graham Norton Show and many more- Extremely hands on with DiGiCo, Yamaha, L’Acoustics, Sennheiser, Shure- Extended my knowledge on large and small scale speaker systems and used Smaart as a tool to tune systems

-Worked on a variety of events supplying sound, lighting and video-Developing transferable skills including technical knowledge, events management and working with clients to meet their needs-Working on numerous events at Ely Cathedral, ExCel London and Manchester Apollo

Undertaking 2 weeks of work experience at a local sound and lighting hire shop based in Northamptonshire Worked in a busy warehouse environment
