My current focus is on tribal energy sovereignty and the valuation of distributed energy resources (DERs) in underserved communities. Using open source tools, I model, analyze and appraise DERs for technical performance and fit in terms of economic feasibility and social acceptance. These include long-duration energy storage devices (Li-ion based technology), electric vehicles and electric vehicle infrastructure, and solar PV. I'm eager to navigate the clean energy transition by exploring financial challenges and opportunities, expanding services and market participation in renewable energy enterprises.
