I graduated with a First Class degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Surrey. I have returned to work in the Asset Risk team at Volkswagen Financial Services, where I completed a 13-month placement during my third year of university.Working at VWFS has enabled me to gain valuable experience and an understanding of the operations within a financial services firm whilst developing a passion for the automotive industry. My role in Asset Risk has given me the opportunity to acquire industry-specific knowledge and encouraged me to implement and improve my analytical skills when setting residual values, helping the business to minimise risk on a daily basis. I also enjoy using Tableau to bring our data to life by creating insightful reports to be used around the business.I have also benefited from having over a year’s experience running an online business. This was a great opportunity for me to put my creativity to use whilst learning about the world of e-commerce.
