Manage a 24/7/365 laboratory with 6 Lab Techs to provide analytical quality control support to the various production areas of the facility. I also provide assistance to the sales team in developing new fertilizer blends, to customer service for generation of COAs and COCs, and I participate in the Quality Response Team.

Managed the Quality Assurance program for an environmental laboratory. Assisted in the transition of the laboratory from hazardous waste testing to drinking water testing. Facilitated the certification of the lab under the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program. Laboratory was initially Del Mar Analytical but merged with TestAmerica.

Analyzed samples on various instruments, including GC\ECD, GC\PID\FID, and some HPLC. Duties included managing varying workloads, method development, instrument maintenance, and training other analysts in analytical and sample extraction procedures.

Initially extracted samples for semi-volatiles and pesticides analysis as well as oil and grease testing. Promoted to analyst on GC/ECD and GC/PID/FID instruments.
