I managed operations for the property including front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage departments. I was in charge of forecasting labor and scheduling, inventory management, ordering, cost control, and payroll. I was very fortunate to lead the property through a beautiful renovation by ensuring proper product was ordered and Residence Inn brand standards were followed. I also played an integral part of clearing the various stages of the renovation by working with our general contractors. I developed a very succesful team that saw growth in revenue and GSS scores.

I was responsible for managing not just the restaurant but the department as a whole. I forecasted and scheduled labor across multiple outlets, I analysed and restructured menu pricing to drive revenue, I trained and developed a successful team across both restaurant, bar, and complimentary outlets. I steered the department through the pandemic alongside our Executive Chef, starting delivery services (GrubHub, DoorDash, and UberEats) for the restaurant and developing take out food and beverage items to drive revenue through an unprecedented downturn in hotel occupancy.

I was in charge of the Front Desk department including group coordinating and revenue management. I was in charge of forecasting labor and scheduling, I coordinated multiple large airline crews and regular tour groups averaging a turnover of more than 175 rooms daily. I was lucky to be involved with revenue management as well where I learned One Yield and utilized pricing strategies with our area revenue director to increase revenue for the whole property.
