At Lafayette School Corporation, I was initially the computer tech for Jefferson High School. I was responsible for anything that had to do with technology, including computers, TV's, wireless casting devices, touch screen pens, touch screen TV's, computer docks, and many more miscellaneous technology devices. My primary job was to provide service to the teacher devices, which would include a lot of troubleshooting both physical issues with the computer itself and any issue with programs, websites, and their Microsoft account with LSC. While my main role was maintaining staff devices, I was also very involved with the student devices, primarily with fixing the serious issues that the student help could not handle. This mainly involved troubleshooting and replacing bad parts, or sending them in for warranty when there was nothing else I could do. The last year of my time at LSC I was responsible for four of the eight elementary schools as well as Oakland Academy, which is an extension of Jefferson High School. In this role, I primarily dealt with troubleshooting the student iPads, but I was also solely responsible for the teacher devices. They had almost identical devices to the Jefferson teachers.
