I remember the first time I fixed our VCR when I was around 5 years old. While a simple example, this is the first time I remember being so excited about solving a problem with technology. A few years later, I was introduced to computers, and immediately fell in love with expanding what I was able to create with them, from creating a newsletter for kids in my neighborhood to writing simple websites and Javascript code. These passions for technology and creativity all eventually led me to Miami University, where I studied Interactive Media Studies, a cross-disciplinary program exploring the intersections of design, emerging technology, and business, and the impact the these disciplines make on the world. While at Miami, I took an introduction to mobile app development course, and as a life long Apple nerd, fell in love with building software I could use on my own iPhone. Since graduating, I've worked as an iOS developer where I have been able to continue solving problems with technology and expanding what I can build every day.
