In my role as a Sales/Logistics Manager, I have honed my ability to strategically plan and execute initiatives that help with sales objectives and the logistics capabilities of the company. Managing the logistics operations has been a significant part of my current role, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery/imports of products to customers/production partners. By ensuring effective and cost efficient logistics and sales, I have managed to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing any complaints and issues as soon as they arise.Compliance and risk management are also critical to my role. I ensure that our operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards, helping to identifying any potential risks and developing strategies to help mitigate them. Staying updated on the latest industry trends and regulatory changes is a must to help maintain compliance and operational quality. My analytical skills have been sharpened through the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs). Regular self-analysis on sales performance, logistics efficiency, and financial outcomes has driven me to make better decision-making skills and continuous improve myself based on data-driven insights.Outside of work, I am an avid walker and hiker, enjoying the challenge of the great outdoors. A few years ago me and a couple of friends managed to complete the Yorkshire three peaks challenge. This might not sound that hard but it involves a 24 mile round trip hike and this includes going up three peaks (as the name would suggest) Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 meters) and Ingleborough (723 metres). All of this must be completed in a 12 hour period for you to complete the challenge, I can happily say we did complete it Just.Meeting up with friends is a regular part of my social life, especially those social events are based around craft beer. Going to a social event is something I look forward to attending as they provide a perfect blend of relaxation, enjoyment, and the opportunity to meet new people and beers. I am also passionate about DIY projects, finding satisfaction in creating and fixing things, it’s always nice to have and use something you have created yourself. One of my more unique hobbies (but maybe not so unique anymore) is painting Warhammer miniatures, which allows me to express my creativity and attention to detail. Overall, my hobbies and interests reflect my love for creativity, connection, and continuous learning, which I believe also enhance my professional capabilities.
