A recent Petroleum Engineering graduate who is currently working as a completions operator for Black Star Energy Services, Current role involves performing wireline pump down for frac operations on multi-well pad sites in the Midland & Delaware Basins. Responsibilities involve adjusting pump pressures and rates to convey the perforating guns to the desired depth. Previously a valve technician for Black Star, daily responsibilities involved assessing, installing, repairing and pressure testing control valves and ANSI valves to help meet industry requirements. Additional services were also provided for other facility equipment - thief hatches, vents and flares.Past experiences involve working for two separate E&P companies as a facilities, production, drilling and completions engineer intern. Duties involved working with drilling rig well site manager, completions personnel, fluid techs, pumpers, and work-over foremen. Specific projects were also given throughout the summer to finish while in the field, presenting the projects findings and making recommendations to the executives of the respective companies.
