After launching his career at age 18 in Corpus Christi, he had epic success as an agent and moved to Houston. There, he built Sudhoff Properties, a billion-dollar sales, and marketing firm specializing in new development that helped transform the city’s residential landscape. Building on his success with Sudhoff Properties, Jacob began exploring other real estate-aligned ventures. In 2010, he started Allied Structure Capital - a private real estate investment firm that has deployed over half a billion dollars in Texas real estate equity since its inception. In 2019, Sudhoff Properties joined forces with luxury brokerage Douglas Elliman where Jacob is a co-owner of the firm’s impressive Texas enterprise. Responding to the absence of a one-stop, ultra-high-end design resource in the marketplace, Jacob and his husband, Jerry Hooker, also launched CASA in 2017. An exclusive retail and contract interior luxury design firm renowned for its curated collection of international brands, it now boasts three divisions: Casa Retail, Casa Contract, and Casa Development. In addition, Jacob and Jerry co-own Mirador Group, an award-winning architectural and design practice encompassing all aspects of commercial and residential architecture. A proud Texan, Jacob dedicates his time to creating positive change in the communities he serves. He is an active supporter of multiple charities and organizations throughout the state. Today, Jacob, Jerry, and their two children live on a ranch outside Houston, where they thoroughly enjoy the wonderful Texas lifestyle.
