As Board Member and Head of Finance for AAPI Youth Voices, I oversee the generation and investment of funds. My responsibilities include hosting fundraisers, diversifying funds across asset classes, and communicating complex financial information to the organization’s members in a concise manner. I lead the day-to-day actions of our organization to ensure we are meeting our financial goals and spreading our message of racial equality. Currently I am working closely with the executive director and state representatives to pass bill number 5037 into Minnesota Law. This will incorporate Asian American and Pacific Islander culture into the high school education system.

In my role as Honor Caddie for Hazeltine National Golf Course, I was responsible for conveying knowledge of the course to a diverse group of golfers from different ages, backgrounds, and abilities. I assisted the golfers with tasks such as putt reading, bunker ranking, and club selection, while personalizing my social interaction to create a positive environment in which they thrived. Throughout my three years at Hazeltine National Golf Course, I was promoted to honor caddie, the highest rank. Additionally, I was invited to caddie the Pro-Amateur tournament, and was one of eight caddies in Minnesota chosen to receive the Evans Scholarship, which offers a full ride to partner Universities.

Taggart Piano is a piano duo company comprised of my sister and myself. As founder of Taggart Piano, I am responsible for offering the services of performing, accompanying, and teaching, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the company. I lead and develop the company through performance booking, marketing, and rate negotiation. Under my leadership, Taggart Piano has performed in 250 concerts across four countries and generated over 125,000 dollars in revenue.
