I love solving puzzles. Whether it be figuring out a workflow for a difficult project or how to animate that complex piece of design on a website; I immerse myself into problems. Coming from a more creative background, I tend to manage projects and develop websites from a unique perspective. It can be very difficult to translate sophisticated design into functional websites, but I enjoy fitting that round peg into a square hole, as it were. On a daily basis, I get to help designers find that balance between development and design and figure out how to make that design come to life with great development partners or through my own development skills.Websites have a lot of moving pieces.They involve everything from designers and copywriters, to developers and marketing/data experts. They need to have all these pieces come together and be greater than the sum of their parts. Managing all the content, design, development specs, business needs, and marketing goals requires a high level of organization and understanding of all these fields. I have had a lot of experience with all these facets of web development working in, primarily, full service advertising agencies. I get to work in design, development, and marketing frequently. The diverse aspects of all these focuses is very interesting to me and has enabled me to be an effective project manager in the web development field.So, enough about me, how are you?
