I started my higher education journey at Southwestern College earning an Associates of Arts in Kinesiology and was later accepted to San Diego State University where I finished my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. During my undergrad I always loved the feeling of being in a lab. I was a very hands on type of learner and it was something that always kept my attention. On days I had labs I would always look forward to working with my classmates and even clients. However, I still valued my sit down classroom time learning. When I did my Rehabilitation Internship at San Diego State that is when I realized that being in a clinical setting and helping people was something that I wanted. Not only did I enjoy helping people everyday I also enjoyed documenting and implementing my own personal rehabilitation programs. Also, a nerdy thing is that I really liked the filing part of the job. Everything had a place and it was just satisfying. I really miss the smiles on my clients faces when we finished our time together.I started my customer service experience at a young age working for AMC theaters part-time while still in high school. As I got into community college I moved away from the company and started my new job working for the American Golf Corporation part-time. I was tasked with providing exceptional customer service to guests in an extremely fast paced environment. I have over 6 years of customer service experience. Currently I work for Johnstone Supply since I needed full-time work after I graduated. Here, I am tasked with cycle counts, receiving merchandise, reporting and documenting damages, and general administrative work.My professional interest include:Occupational TherapyPhysical TherapyRehabilitation Exercise ScienceAthletic TrainingIn my free time, I enjoy golfing, watching old movies, modifying cars, bowling, and weight training.
