Wrote code in Python and Matlab to collect, visualize, and present data in a useful manner regarding the quality of varying mountain bike wheels. Worked with engineers who created various testing apparatuses using motion capture systems and mechanisms that created both dynamic and static impacts on the wheels. Presented, with the research team, results to project administrators.

I am working with a small start-up out of the Crested Butte/Gunnison valley to create a smartphone application to keep users safe from avalanches while accessing the backcountry. My role is to collect and analyze data from past avalanche accidents and reports and help enhance our algorithm that will determine what is safe and what is unsafe terrain.

Worked with a team of 5 other students and faculty to collect and analyze temperature data in the Gunnison Valley to study the observed effect called cold air pooling. I created and maintained a PostgreSQL database for the temperature data, as well as performed complex data analysis on the data using Python. Some techniques for data analysis included, Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, and Multi-layered Nueral Networks.

91.1 FM has been a student run radio station on the campus of Western Colorado University for over 50 years. As digital manager I am in charge of what plays when there isn't a live DJ broadcasting in studio A. This means working with the automation software and uploading new music and public service announcements into the offline programming. I also interact and work on various station projects with my fellow student managers while hosting two live radio shows during the week.

Camp Chief Ouray is a long celebrated YMCA summer camp located in the rocky mountains of Colorado and is prided on teaching kids their core values of faith, responsibility, respect, caring, and honesty. As a camp counselor I was in charge, with one other co-counselor, of a group of ten boys for 1 week at a time. The age of the children would range from 7 to 13 depending on what cabin you were assigned on any given week.

The Lowry Beer Garden is a very busy family restaurant located in Denver, CO. As a busser I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and assisting customers in need. The restaurant doesn't operate in the typical waiter table fashion but instead customers were able to order food from the cash registers at the front of the restaurant. This meant that I was responsible for a lot more customer interaction then a busser may typically experience. I was also promoted to the higher roll of busser manager later in my tenure and was responsible for helping with scheduling as well as training new employees.
