Daily routine included installation, collection and downloading of roadside traffic counts using both pneumatic and piezoelectric traffic counters. Also included road mapping which involved distinguishment of lane and intersection light types. Work area comprised of southcentral region, Glennallen to Homer, and Bethel.

Worked several summers as a crew member for two family owned set-net sites at the mouth of the Kvichak River. Included technical training of skiff operations, maneuverability, net mending, and tide reading applicable to fishing.
