Working extensively on the "FilmArray", which is used to perform rapid and automated PCR testing for hospital diagnosis.Design and conduct experiments.Test, collect, analyze data and keep an accurate and detailed record of all work done. Present to large groups of scientists and/or management personnel; expressing ideas and experimental results to co-workers and supervisors.Work with many sample types, such as nasal swabs and sputum samples (respiratory tract infections), gastrointestinal tract (stool) samples, blood culture vials, CSF, BAL, whole blood, and serum samples, among other environmental or bodily samples.Work extensively on multiple projects, (completed four separate lab notebooks with 152 pages each), one was for Johns Hopkins Hospital. Design automated PCR tests to detect pathogens such as Anthrax (gram+ bacteria), Marburg virus, Ebola, Salmonella, Dengue virus, Plasmodium falciparum (Malaria), Francisella tularensis (gram- bacteria), and many others.
