The advent of COVID-19 and the ensuing shift in education led me to move to Austin, where I seized the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.I established my foothold as a developer working for Cubemar, a nimble tech collective known for its significant impact on marketing and online presence. Since being hired in 2019 at the entry level, I began my journey with website enhancements and landing page creation. These initial tasks laid the groundwork for my expanded role alongside the company's focus on business automation. My portfolio has since grown to include complex web development projects and sophisticated data handling. As a lead developer, I was at the forefront of developing Cubemar's innovative rental management suite, crafting an intuitive dashboard, a resilient backend, and a scalable front-end booking system, all within a React-centric tech stack.Before fully embracing my development path at Cubemar, I gained invaluable experience at Pretect, working as both an on-site and remote support technician. This role refined my skills in a variety of IT tasks, including low-voltage work, networking, customer service, and server maintenance. Collaborating with a diverse team, I navigated numerous IT challenges and mastered many industry-standard tools such as Slack, Outlook, Teams, among others, both as a user and administrator. This foundational experience has been instrumental in my development career, offering a comprehensive understanding of the technical needs and challenges businesses face.
