For the past 3 years I have worked as an Assistant Store Manager for Walmart Stores. During my time with Walmart I have learned many skills on how to not only lead a team of associates but how to work along side those associates as well. Proper planning and time management was always a key in this position and is something that will be beneficial in any job retail or not.In January of 2019 I decided to step away from Walmart and return to school to pursue a degree in sports management from Eastern Kentucky University. Sports has always been a major part of my life and it is something I have been very passionate about sense I was young. Whether it is watching the Cincinnati Reds or the Pittsburgh Steelers, or even playing sports it is something I have had a passion about my entire life.Retail and working in sports have a lot of the same skills needed to be successful: Excellent customer service, proper planning, time management, and most importantly a passion/drive to succeed.
