After my graduate degree I was offered an opportunity to supervise and make sales for a local landscaping company I had worked for in the past. There I-Facilitated and oversaw both commercial and residential landscaping projects-Served as liaison between customers and crew leaders-Provided estimates to potential clientele-Managed productivity and-Maintained rapport with property managers

Facilitated an undergraduate research lab for 4 semesters of up to 8 undergraduate students working on approximately 4 research projects at any given time.- Supervised, advised, and directed the research, planning, implementation, analysis, and reporting of numerous research studies.- Delegated responsibilities to group members in order to maximize productivity and ensure timely completion of research projects.- Collected and processed both quantitative and qualitative data using online (Qualtrics) and paper format.- Managed and analyzed data using Excel, SPSS, and SAS.- Developed manuscripts, including master’s thesis, reporting results and interpretation of research through Powerpoint, poster, and MS word in APA format.- Presented findings at poster presentations and colloquiums through the JMU Graduate School and at numerous professional conferences.- Consulted with JMU Training and Development Department to help create an online competency checklist to facilitate and guide future course offerings for faculty continued education.- Facilitated focus groups composed of JMU faculty, staff, and department heads.- Researched and wrote literature reviews on best practices and key competencies.
