-Develop and implement a full-range of recruitment and yield strategies to attract prospective first-year and transfer students, to meet the enrollment needs and targets of the School, including Open House, Ignite: Admitted Student Day, Preview Days, SPH Admitted Student Visit Days and more.-Develop new initiatives to connect with SPH prospective and admitted students, including, innovative recruitment strategies to reach diverse student populations.-Engage in local outreach efforts with high school teachers and counselors to develop relationships with target feeder high schools. Build and nurture increasing numbers of new relationships with local high schools.-Meet with prospective and admitted students and families, provide insight about life as a School of Public Health student via in-person appointments, video conference calls, phone calls, emails, and social media.-Develop, plan, and implement the communication campaign for students admitted to the School of Public Health to increase affinity to the school.-Coordinate marketing and communication strategies, including recruitment efforts, website, and social media for the School’s divisional programs, Undergraduate and DrPH programs.

-Ambassador of UIC to prospective students and parents seeking an advanced degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, providing first impression information, guiding through entire admissions process-Lead recruiter for the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, drafting and implementing new recruitment and engagement strategies aimed at increasing new student matriculation across the Division-Proven track record of successful enrollment yields, demonstrated through the adoption of Epidemiology and Biostatistics’ new recruitment and engagement programs by other Divisions in the School of Public Health-Develop creative marketing content and serve on committees responsible for recruitment material, promotion, and community outreach-Lead coordinator collaborating with the Office of Student Affairs on Orientation, new student Preview Day and co-developed pilot program, adopted as admitted student visit days-Manages all graduate teaching assistantships in the Division by assigning position openings, drafting and completing contracts for employment-Consult with Division faculty on student questions, course requirements and aid in development of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics curriculum

- Member of Communications Committee which writes and edits all outgoing communication from Admissions Office.- Lead on the overhaul and rewriting of the Transfer Admissions page on the UIC website.- Counsel individual students on their readiness for collegiate study and assess their academic credentials.- Manage applicant pool of approximately 3,000 and serve as liaison to college departments and programs.
