As a software developer/engineer Jacob repeatedly went above and beyond to re-use what was available and create quality, reliable code that met and frequently exceeded business needs. As part of his first project at Affinity4 he created a web portal for our ISP customers (http://portal.a4isp.com). When finished, the portal was fully cross-browser compatible, used css tricks to re-use images and accelerate the site for dial-up customers, was easy for customers to customize to their tastes, and produced a stream of recurring revenue through ads and affiliate programs. His portal is still in use today with few changes, and continues to produce revenue month after month. He is self motivated, and tenaciously attacks problems in an efficient manner until they are fixed. During a server relocation project, he worked miracles in troubleshooting random hardware and software problems and produced a rock-solid environment for our mission critical systems. He played a critical part on our team as one of those people that could be trusted to get projects done right and on time. Never boasting, but always there to help.
