My name is Jacob Neff and I am from Crown Point, Indiana. I am a first-year student at Indiana University Bloomington pursuing a degree in Business with majors in Marketing and Finance. I have a passion for business and hope to own my own business one day. In High School, I enjoyed participating in a variety of different school organizations. One of my favorites was Business Professionals of America, (BPA). I enjoyed the competitive nature of the club, working as a team and meeting new students and business professionals. A few of my categories were Business Management, Business Law and Marketing. My involvement in BPA has definitely sharpened my problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Now at Indiana University, I'm thrilled about the opportunities ahead. I'm eager to join the American Marketing Association and the Financial Services Club. This will expand my knowledge and I will gain hands-on experience in both business and finance. Networking is a priority for me and I'm committed to building strong connections within the business community here at Indiana University. I'm also determined to find leadership positions within student organizations to further my growth and contribute to the field of business. Looking towards my future, I intend to apply the knowledge, skills, and abilities I acquire during my time at Indiana University to succeed in the industry and make a significant impact. With a business foundation from the Kelley School of Business, focusing on my networking in the industry, and a drive for leadership, I am excited to see what the future holds.
