La Magnética is an online consulting agency focused on digital strategy, project management and web/social media analytics.Digital Marketing and Strategy:La Magnética uses proprietary data analytic software to consult and increase the value of their client's online and social media strategy. During my summer internship, I was tasked with building out the company's presence into new markets and new industries. Using my cross-cultural background, I was able to create marketing and sales strategies that would effectively help La Magnética enter the US market. Additionally, I proposed sales strategies for the acquisition of new clients within the e-commerce sector while establishing KPIs through SEO & SNA channels utilizing their proprietary software. During my time with their team, we were able to find a strong collaboration between their sports expertise and my Hispanic business background. The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the largest Hispanic business organization in the United States that represents the interests of nearly 3.2 million Hispanic owned businesses nationwide that contribute in excess of $468 billion to the American economy.New Business:At the USHCC, we serve both Fortune 500 companies as well as millions of Hispanic-owned businesses that span the gamut of industries. As part of the business development team I focused of identifying, prospecting and pitching new potential clients on our services focused on strategic partnerships between corporate, small businesses, and government organizations. In addition, I was in charge of the retention and strengthening of current partnerships while maintaining a database of over 110,000 Hispanic suppliers to better improve our services offered. Management:At the USHCC, I was in charge of opening and managing the first regional office outside of Washington, DC in Dallas, TX in order to add value to our local Hispanic chambers while strengthening our relationships with current partners.
