As project manager on these types of project it is an exciting daily challenge to create and maintain a large involvement and commitment from all partners, thereby ensuring a good outcome of complex and unpredictable projects.Product and material chemistryThrough a range a R&D project, I have gained experience and insight into some of the challenges facing producers when developing and implementing new materials and products. A recurring theme in many of these projects have been to develop methods to substitute or reduce unwanted chemicals in fx. Paint products.Nanotechnology and NanomaterialsDevelopment of new cost effective nanostructured materials for applications such as highly efficient heat exchanger, nanoparticle synthesis and functionalization for use in fx. biosensors have been the center for much of my research for many year. Through these projects, I have gained a large knowledge base on how and why nanomaterials work as they do. Development of these types of materials in close collaboration with industrial partners have also given my a good understanding of the requirements and barriers for implementation of the technologies.
