I am the CEO and founder of Plowshare, an ag-tech startup. We're building the OS for your farm.

I lead the React arm of HeroDevs. I lead a small team of engineers to migrate Angular.js (1.x) applications to use modern React. The top tools I use are React, NX monorepo, Yarn, Node, TypeScript, MUI, Emotion, and React Query.

As CTO, I lead the technical success of Freeplay. We use React Native on both iOS and Android, Node.js on the server, and MySQL for our database.I have built and deployed our React Native app to both the App Store and Google Play Store. We use Microsoft's App Center for automated build and deploy, as well as some out-of-the-box analytics and monitoring. We also use CodePush to push out emergency OTA updates, without having to go through the typical store review and deploy process.

I worked with clients to architect solutions to meet their business objectives. I was able to work with a variety of different clients.

I own and run a small consulting firm. I work with several other contractors to create custom web and mobile applications to meet the needs of clients.

I briefly led the data warehousing team. We worked to migrate client data from a single shared database instance to sharded Aurora Postgres clusters.

I was a part-time instructor for DevMountain. I taught part-time and full-time students the fundamentals and additional tools for web development. I frequently taught JavaScript fundamentals, Firebase, React, and Node.js.

I primarily worked on the admin product in Angular.js

My time at Spero gave me extensive experience in both React Native and Node.js.We built and deployed our iOS app with react native. Since it was only a short time after React Native was open-sourced, it was a very challenging and sometimes chaotic experience. Having been through this experience, and seeing how the community and OSS have grown since then, I would still choose React Native in a heartbeat.The writing and deploying of the server was also primarily my responsibility.

I was responsible for the success of students attending DevMountain. My day to day responsibilities included: leading toy problems; leading daily group mini projects; lecturing on JavaScript fundamentals, libraries, and frameworks; writing curriculum; advising and pair programming with students on projects; managing other mentors.
