I am a graduate from the University of Houston where I received my doctorate in physics. I specialized in the area of heavy ion and nuclear physics. I wrote my doctoral thesis on Pentaquark Search in the Strange Sector at ALICE at the LHC. During my time at the University of Houston, I became interested in data analysis and computing for large, complex datasets. I'm skilled in Python, R, C++, SQL.I'm a skilled presenter and have won awards for public speaking at educational conferences where I presented my research and data. I am also a proficient technical writer with skills in scientific literacy. I'm often told that I'm able to take complex topics and break them down into understandable portions for the layperson. I am a critical thinker who loves problem solving, finding more efficient methods of accomplishing tasks, and using logic to analyze complex issues. I currenlty live in Houston with my wife, two sons, and daughter and can often be found rewatching Marvel movies, playing board games, or wrestling with my boys.
