I am majoring in finance with a focus on Corporate Finance at The University of Texas at Dallas. I chose this major because I know the importance of finances worldwide, specifically in the corporate business world, and that need motivates me to be willing to work with others to work with their finances and make the best decisions for their future. While I have yet to take any Finance-specific classes, I am currently enrolled in Business Communications, Business Law, and Applied Calculus, which can all help me in my future finance career. I enjoy watching my favorite MLB team, the Boston Red Sox, and following the team and business behind it. The business nature of MLB teams and the large payrolls they have to manage year in and year out to keep the team running inspires me to pursue a career similar to those who manage teams' finances, like the Red Sox Chief Financial Officer or CFO. In addition to being a full-time student, I am also a part-time associate and trainer at Andy's Frozen Custard. This job has helped me develop many new skills relating to customer service, leadership, time management, problem-solving, and resiliency. Being the longest-tenured associate at work has given me many leadership opportunities over the past couple of years, improving my ability to work with others in a professional setting. I am open to new opportunities to grow my professional career and to develop my skills in the field further. Thank you for considering this opportunity, and I appreciate your taking the time to look at my LinkedIn account.
