From the moment I finished high school, I dove head first into the work force full time. I worked in a plethora of industries through my early adulthood: food service, customer service, sales, management, eventually finding a niche primarily in sales and customer-facing roles involving social interaction. After working in several jewelry stores I reached a point when I realized the bottleneck on my career trajectory would be pursuing further education. I returned to school and hit the ground running, quickly achieving Summa cum laude honors at the Santa Rosa Junior College, and I have since finished my associate's degree and transferred to Sonoma State University. I am now an avid member of the Sonoma State Accounting Forum and recently sourced my first internship opportunity with a top 100 accounting firm based in San Francisco.
