My current role provides overall leadership and direction to major capital works within Barwon Health. This role extends on the manager role and includes Capital Planning, Funding and Government agency liason in order to strategically align and deliver the major works program.

Geelong

This position provides direct management, leadership and support across Barwon Health, in relation to all Capital Works projects and some minor works. It also provides advice and assistance to the executive on strategic master planning for Barwon Health capital assets and buildings. In this role I manage a portfolio of construction projects in excess of $100 Million and am responsible for managing the planning, design, procurement and construction of new buildings in Barwon Health.

Geelong

In this role I was responsible for managing a portfolio of ICT projects for 13 regional hospitals. This role was diverse and challenging and required excellent business analysis and project management skills to interpret user requests into functional ICT solutions at an enterprise level. The projects I worked on in this role were both software and infrastructure based ranging from financial system rollouts to core network and communication room installations for a new wing in Geelong hospital.

Managing a small team of skilled business analysts to improve business processes. This is achieved through data and process modelling and end to end solutions design.

Develop, establish, manage and support best practice strategies to improve and sustain the core business productivity of SWARH members.Core Responsibilities:- Development of the implementation strategies for systems supporting the core services delivery of members and customers: Clinical, Patient and Client Management, Aged Care, Financial Management, HR/Payroll and other related applications- Management of the implementation strategy for system enhancements that meet general and specific requests for enhanced services delivery from members and customers- Development and coordination of pre-production system audit, testing and acceptance strategies.- Development and coordination of post-implementation project review and improvement strategies

This role covered areas ranging from SQL Database support and development to full business process modeling and system analysis and development. This role requires an in depth knowledge of best practice in several programming languages and development platforms including SQL, ASP.net, C#, VB, business intelligence packages & MS SharePoint development.

This role involved supporting the varying architectures & environments by which Barwon Health’s Information Services are delivered. This includes but is not limited to Microsoft, Novell, Citrix, Sun / Unix, TS & specialist technologies such as Sharepoint.

This is highly mobile role requiring travel to all regions of Australia to provide onsite support for a wide range of hardware, software & network configurations including the building, installation & remote support of new systems & existing Point Of Sale (POS) infrastructure.
