I teach the following courses:- Basics of Business: All incoming freshmen in the college of business must take this course which covers every concentration area that the college of business has to offer. It is designed to help students pick a major and navigate the university.- Small Business Management: This is a course taught to junior and senior-level management and marketing majors. The course is designed around teaching students the importance of starting and running a small business. I also partner students with real small businesses to help them solve unique problems such as marketing plans, website designs, employee policies, and business plans.- Business Analytics Capstone: This course is for senior-level students with a major or minor in business analytics. This course is a culmination of their college career and I push the students to lean on what they have learned throughout their college career to solve big data problems for Delaware businesses.- Business Computing: Tools and Concepts: Introduction to using computer applications as effective tools for problem solving and data analysis. Emphasis on using Excel and Access to analyze and explore real world data.

-Serve as a board member for the Delaware State Fair, contributing to the strategic direction and decision-making processes.-Collaborate with other board members to oversee and enhance the fair's operations, programs, and community engagement.-Play a key role in multiple committees, including the Audit, Entertainment, Admission, and Marketing Committees.-Co-Chair the Audit Committee, responsible for ensuring compliance of all fair operations and specifically overseeing information security assessments and recommendations.- Oversee and manage all front of house operations at the M&T Grandstand Venue to ensure seamless and exceptional guest experiences.-Coordinate with event organizers, promoters, and production teams to understand the requirements and expectations for each concert or event.-Supervise and lead a team of 40+ ushers, ticket takers, security personnel, and other front-of-house staff, providing clear instructions and ensuring efficient scheduling.-Collaborate with venue management and technical staff to ensure proper setup and arrangement of seating, signage, and facilities for each event.-Monitor ticketing and admission processes to prevent fraud and unauthorized access, coordinating with ticketing services (etix) when necessary.-Act as the main point of contact for patrons, addressing complaints, inquiries, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.-Conduct post-event evaluations to assess front-of-house operations' effectiveness and identify improvement areas.-Collaborate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance both the event space and overall fairgrounds, aiming to elevate visitor experiences and operational efficiency.
