I am a 2 time Emmy Award winning creative, results-oriented, sports fanatic who aspires to continue working in the video editing field. My positive attitude and "team player" mentality allows me to adapt and thrive in any situation.Currently I am a freelance video editor for The Action Network. Primarily I edit daily picks and video podcasts as well as training new freelancers on editing best practices. Recently I worked for Verizon as a Consultant in the Marketing department and helped create and produce the Ready Set Connect Video series. This project allowed executives to educate reps on all of the weekly happenings. Before that I worked as a Broadcast Associate for the Emmy Award Winning Major League Baseball Network. I assisted in all aspects of production from producing and editing content for live daily sports shows including MLB Tonight, Intentional Talk, and Hot Stove. I am proud a Elon University alumni with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Media Arts and Entertainment with a Sport and Event Management minor. Throughout my time at Elon, I used my production skills to produce, shoot, and edit over 15 short videos. I worked for multiple student media outlets including Elon Local News. I worked specifically on the Monday night news show and the Tuesday morning show which finished as a runner up at the 2014 College Television Awards. I also ran the camera for several live broadcasts including a 7-hour election show, as well as anchoring two morning segments. I was responsible for writing scripts and researching stories that impacted campus life. My specialties include a strong command of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, FTP and Media Management services as well as social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Vimeo.
