I am currently a student at Cedarville University. I am pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Bible and Mathematics. I love math and science, and I love to learn. That is why I am becoming an engineer because engineers are always learning new things and applying them to new areas of research. In high school, I did a program called CollegeNow which is a program for juniors and seniors in high school to get a two year degree in engineering. I took basic electrical and mechanical engineering classes to get an Associates in Electro-Mechanical engineering. At Cedarville, I am building on what I learned at North Central State to become a better engineer. At Cedarville, I was a team leader for the urban concept car on the Supermileage team where we got 2nd place at the Shell Eco-Marathon in the Urban Concept division.I have done co-ops with Honda R and D Americas where I worked as an electrical engineer in the Power Sports division. I learned a lot and saw real world applications for ideas that I learned in the class room. I learned a lot about testing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
